For fun, a brain teaser.. (the answer)

A man walks into a bar and asks the bartender for a glass of water. The bartender pulls a gun on the man. The man says “thank you.” and walks out of the bar. Why did the bartender pull a gun on the man?

The answer is very obvious if you read into the scenario well. If you need a hint, ask.

Well, nobody was right! And I know I can’t stand it when I can’t figure these things out, so I’m posting the answer. But you were on the right track with the water idea.

The man that walked into the bar asked for a glass of water cause he had the hiccups. The bartender, in an attempt to scare away the hiccups pulled the gun on the man who asked for the water. The man who asked for the water’s hiccups then went away, so he thanked the bartender and walked out of the bar. :)

If it’s any consellation,I heard this from a friend and it took me four days to figure this one out correctly.
