Is this guy flirting with me?

Okay so at school in one of my classes there is this guy who sits at my table..And he picks on me i guess you could say.. he is always being mean to me and making comments.. but they are not mean mean.. like joking mean.. And he throws my stuff everywhere like my pencils and my books. And he would punch me in the leg sometimes and poke me in the sides to make me jump. Would that be kind of a flirting thing going on or what?

Yeah, I would say that is a rather unflattering, immature boy’s way of flirting. Personally I think the physical part is unnecessary.. but whatever. I wouldn’t tolerate it. Just tell him that if he likes you he should tell you, not abuse you and your school supplies!
