How can I find out if I am an ivf baby?

All i know is that my mum had 8 miscacrages before she had me, and i know that is a little unusal as most people would have stopped by then. okay so today in cultural lesson we were doing ivf and i had a thought that that might of been what my mum did to conseve me and my brother, (2 years younger) and if this was true what has she done with the remaining eggs? i know she has given eggs before as she told me it is really painfull, so i was just a little confused if it was true….. and as i was born before the 1st of april 2005 i dont have the right to know but wondered if any of you out there could help me, i dont want to ask my mum as i belive there is a reason she didnt tell me and i trust her for that its just i wanted to know. the reson i think this i me and my friend were putting it all togeather and it seemed a little odd, any help?? x

Having a baby? Take a pregnancy test, they are extremely cheap and you should be able to find them at almost any drugstore, even walmart or target. Answer On!

You MUST take a pregnancy test, those are really the only “accurate” ways, Answer On!

Why would you need to kno? It wont make any difference if you were conceived because of IVF or not. Either way you were obviously a very wanted child :)

Really either way speaking to your mother is going to be the only way you can find out, have a serious sit down with her and just ask her.

With IFV they implant all the eggs in hopes that one will attach to the wall, and in turn get the woman pregnant. The other eggs are just absorbed into the body or flushed out with their period :)
