Felony question

I currently have a felony pending when I got out on bond I never returned to the small town that I was charged I got hired shortly thereafter at a collection agency and have worked there the last 2 years I have not been contacted since by the police or any other state organizations. Im currently living in tx. I recently was termed for the company and do not know where to go form here. I haven’t renewed my id for fear of incarceration but now im tired of living benath society. Im too intelligent to not be a member of society. My charge was credt card abuse I want to be normal again but don’t know how to go about it. I never really even did the crime I was pressured into pleading no contest by a court appt lawyer that said that he could not a not-guilty verdict in a small town like this. Im a black man so I was worried so I took his advice. Now im in more trouble than I can imagine. What should I do? I went to court in 2001 been on “bail” since 2005 im afraid of what might happen. I now have a family that depend on me please help!

Dude turn yourself in and do your time so you can go on with a normal life. It will be over before you know it and it ain’t going to kill you. Trust me there is life after prison. Idiots out their who don’t go, the so called perfect people think of us as lepers but believe me you will appreciate life in a whole more wonderful light after you serve your time. It’s ruff starting over but you’ve got fools out here who hang themselves over silly, stupid stuff. Let them go to prison and I guarantee you people would stop hanging themselves. I am college educated, was married to a wealthy doctor and I’ve traveled all-over the world and went to prison for 3 years over drugs I never sold or even had. Some conspiracy stuff. No one is perfect and that’s the problem, everyone is just so wonderful. Get home and do the right things, use better judgement, work hard and get an education. Look up Chef Jeff.com and the vp of columbia sportswear Scott or Jeff Baer. They are both ex-cons making over $250,000 per year and one is a lawyer after his conviction. You can accomplish whatever you set your mind too. I promise you, you’ll make it and be o.k. you just got to fight with ignorant butts more often who don’t understand what getting in trouble is all about. We are all losers and sinners in the eyes of God and that is why we all eventually die and at that moment who cares what you did. Don’t be scared it’s not federal where you have to do all of your time. You’ll probably get just a few years.. tell your people to keep money on your books cause you’ll need money for things in there. Tell your family your turning yourself “in”, so they can get behind you for support. Also, whoever signed for your bond got stuck with the bill. You better get to apologizing. Good Luck!!!

you need legal advice, I wouldnt really trust anyones opinion on here unless they are a lawyer in your state. call a welfare office and see if they have a Legal Aid number or something along those lines. good luck to you.

I don’t know about going to a bible beliving church most of those people like to wear big hats and claim that ther are belivers. Plus I have strayed away form the traditional judeo christian church. It seems that there are more contradictions and corruption in the bible and the way the bible has been presented to us to make me belive otherwise but good jesture. But as for poo you are right I know if I go I only owe $2000 so I might get probation again. But at any rate I need to get this handled thanks poo youve been a big help!
