Fell in love with a Best Friend

I have been best friends with a guy for a year and 5 months now, and I fell in love with him. We are no longer friends because of this, even though I am now over him and moved on which is what he wanted I am still being blamed for our parting. I know you cant control your feelings but was I in the wrong to fall in love with him?

your emotions aren’t controllable. Being best friends means you guys have a lot in common and you are really comforatable with each other which should be the first couple of things in a relationship…but you cant blame urself. Hopefully, he will have the same feelings towards you…I wish you guys da best of luck and friendship! ; )

Of course not. a lot of best friend romances ends up being only one-sided.
