Feeling blue because my relationship ended.

I’m feeling blue because my relationship ended. I was involved with a man from Nashville TN. Him and I were talking last night, then I wanted to get his address to see where in Nashville he lived so I could give it to my friend’s daughter who happens to be a police Officer. He was skeptical about even giving me the address for we couldn’t talk hardly since he was in a bad area where his phone kept fading in and out. I let him put a message on my voice mail on my phone since he couldn’t hear me. I could hear him. So, he leaves me a message on my phone saying “Yeah, its me” “I just have to say that I’m not coming out to Michigan, Don’t be mad at me you know” “You Know, in a way, it wouldn’t have worked since you’re in Michigan from where I’m at” “Don’t call my cell phone and have a good life”. I’m so hurt by those remarks that last night, I couldn’t sleep. It’s hard to get over this. Anyway, could this be because he was trying to hide something? Or, because he found out my friend’s daughter is a Police Officer? I had strong feelings for this man that I’m in so much pain. I would like some advice as to how to stop feeling this way. Now, I have my doubts if I want to even date again. I’ve given up! I’ve been hurt to many times now. It’s killing me. Sorry I had to put this out on anyone but, I need to get this out.
