Do you feel authorities should take action against women selling their bodies on craiglist?

No. I believe authority should take action against the paying customers. If you eliminate the clients, you eliminate women selling their bodies online, this will reduce seedy or crazy clients and hookers…..Being an escort or a prostitute are the lowest career choices ever. Cleaning a public toilet would be more appealing then laying on one’s bed, opening one’s tunnel for strangers after strangers of all shapes and sizes to poke their sausages inside.

I think that Craigslist should remove things like that. If they won’t, then they should be shut down or be made to pay a fine.

No. They probably pass under the whole escort thing (it’s not illegal to pay someone for company, just for sex, they’d have to have undercover stings to prove that it was actually prostitution). And seriously, just leave the poor women alone, they’re choosing to sell their own bodies, that’s their choice. I think they should concentrate on important things. Like doing something about parents who abuse their kids (ja.il would be nice, why is it ok to beat up your one year old, but if you even punched someone else you’d be in ja.il).

I was wondering that up until I was fifteen. Me thinks it has something to do with the Bible. You know, here in the Bible Belt of America, some men will even go so far as to quote Bible versus to their wives and children after they do that. Of course, right next to it is something about Husbands loving their wives and all…cherry picking hypocrites.

In my book anything between consenting adults should be legal.

The Police should spend time investigating theft and violent crimes instead of victimless crimes.

Years ago I corresponded with some prostitutes I met on the Ani Difranco mailing list and they chose their profession of their own free will; they were prostitutes because it paid well and had flexible hours (some were single mothers or college students) . Now if someone is underage or coerced into prostitution than this certainly should be illegal but like I said; so long as everyone involved are consenting adults I have no problem with it.
