can I feed her these things?

Times have changed since I had my son 7 years ago. I am hearing mixed things. When can I feed my 11 month old honey, scrambled eggs, and peanut butter? It used to be 12 months when my son was a baby. Does anyone know what age for those foods now? I dont see her peditrician until next month. I may call and ask today if no one knows. Thanks!

Honey is no-no, until atleast 2 according to the book my pedi gave me. Same with peanut butter because of possible allergies. They recomment waiting on eggs, but my sons has scrambled eggs since he was 1 and had no prblems.

Answer #2

I called the doctor. They said 12 months for eggs and honey. They said 3 years of age for peanut butter. I was a little taken back by the peanut butter. I guess times are changing.

I don’t know.. Doctors recommend a certain time span, but my parents fed us things like peanut butter early on and we never had any issues. The baby I take care of has been having peanut butter since he was about 11 and a half months old, and there hasn’t been any issues either. He’s 15 months old now, and he still eats pretty much everything (including peanut butter) without any reactions.
