You can also find a ton of bands through a site called Purevolume.com. I like it better than Myspace because it streams quicker and the sites are run by the artists themselves, and therefore you get a lot of songs up for download. Plus, if a band has a Myspace they usually provide a link.
Barcelona! I don't know exactly what you would describe their music as (they say Indie/Pop/Rock) but I love them. The music is great and they're amazing guys. They put on a great show as well. :) They are on Myspace, just search for Barcelona.
