What are some fast ways to stop bleeding?

Try something cold. Like an ice cube.

The cold stuff will tighten your blood vessels. That should reduce the blood flow.

you should not be bleeding at all, this just means the procedure was not done well…

you need to go back before it gets infected!

blood vessels will dilate again after around 20 - 30 seconds, thats why ice is usually used to bring down swelling… works like a pump… tighten loosen tighten loosen, gets blood flowing….in this case it wont help much since the procedure seems to have been a mess :s

Agreed, you should NOT have bleeding gums after an operation. Old blood in your mouth is normal, but a wound that doesn’t stop bleeding is a would that isn’t healing. Go back ASAP.

Alright well I’m fine now but the procedure was to expose and attach a brace to the tooth but there was too much blood so they sewed the gum back up back left a small opening so it would let the blood come out and dry out the tooth(so it was apparently supposed to bleed just not alot) but they finished the procedure so everythin is fine
