What's the best way for someone with very fair skin to tan naturally?

Like what oils or how long or any other information?

It’s really tough to say because some people with naturally very fair skin just won’t tan in general. Your going to want to make sure your have some spf protection though because you don’t want to just burn then turn fair again. You’ll want to lay out in the sun daily for about 10 minutes on each side if even. If you have a base tan your chances of burning lessen, though they dont go away. Look for a good tanning oil with a medium to high spf :)

It just takes a lot of burns and patience. I was white as paper most of my life, I had to have gotten burned over 20 times, and 1 of those times (recent) was severe with blistering. But, it all forced my body to produce more melanin, which is the hormone that creates a tan, and now I’m actually getting a sexy tan :) oils never worked for me either. The only thing I advise is tanning between 12 pm and 4 pm (uv rays are highest at that point) and tan as much as you can without getting burned. It’ll take forever, and probably multiple summers to do, but it’s the safest. But, the only way for a fair skinned person to get a tan quick is to force the body to adapt (sunburn) multiple sunburns will shock the body and make it respond, but that isn’t the wisest choice. GL

Burning is a terrible way to tan haha along with being bad for you over all it can cause cancer =/

Tanning tips: you could always spray tan. But naturally - I use banana boat tanning oil, spray your entire body and rub it in. lay on each side 30 min. But you have to do it a couple times. Or alot to see results. Once your finished take a shower and I reccomend to apply jergens natural tan lotion in light or fair skin tone. Apply to entire body. Hope I helped. Good luck

The sun gives you wrinkles, so all that tanning you get is just a way to look older. If you want to tan, go to a beauty shop and see if they have an tanning creams.

Stay in the shade of a beach umbrella Although it may look like you are blocking the sun you are only blocking direct sunlight, IR and UV rays still pass through the gaps of the fabric so you can get a sunburn even if you dont step into the sun ( i have very fair skin and get burnt within 20 minutes in direct sunlight)
