Is eyeliner tattooed on, safe?

and would you do it?

Answer #1

Its safe, but it doesnt last. My aunt tattoos it & its last maybe 1 1/2yrs before you have to get it redone. The side effects & reactions are not worth it though, I would never do it.

Answer #2

What kind of side effects/ reactions have you heard of?

Answer #3

It’s safe, but I’d rather take 2 minutes in the morning to apply eyeliner than go through pain like that, so no I wouldn’t do it. Also it fades after a while, which makes your eyes look tired in my opinion.

Answer #4

I think it’s safe, but I’d never do it. I could only imagine how painful it would be having it done.. It only takes a few minutes to apply the eyeliner yourself, plus it’s a lot cheaper than getting the tattoo. So nyeh. I’d stick to doing it myself.

Answer #5

well its safe if you get it done right, but it kind of sucks. lol. my mom AND grandma got their eyeliners tattooed and it turned blue cuz they didn’t want to get it re-done. i recommend sticking to the make up.

Answer #6

rashes, your face being swollen, red spots, etc.

Answer #7

Yes, it is safe. I had mine done few years back and it is still there till now. It saved me from applying eyeshadow when I am in a rush and having a tattooed eyeliner doesn’t make the face pale even without make-up.

Answer #8

what are the side afftects ?

Answer #9

my teacher Mr.Friesen has eyeliner tatooed on (yes MR.friesen hes a boy) so i guess its safe enough

Answer #10

Unless you want a black and blue eye, than go for it!

Answer #11

I had to get mine done because I could not see to do it anymore and my daughter said it was never on right. I get it redone about every 8 months or so. It hurts for a couple of days, burning eyes and all, but well worth it. I also get my eyebrows and eyelashes tinted by the same woman, not with hair color, but special products. I like that too.
