What is this thing on my eyelid?

Lots of people in my family get them and they go away after i don’t know when but they hurt when you blink..

Answer #1

I would get them when i used to wash my eye out so i could put my contacts in, after i stopped using the eye wash they went away other than id just run my fingernail accross it and pop it to make it stop hurting.

Answer #2

Look like a sty

Answer #3

100%, ive had a few and had to have minor operations to get rid of them.

Answer #4

It is called a “stye” It is caused several different ways. One is by wiping your eye when hands are dirty. Another is by using old, outdated mascara. The best remedy is a warm compress held on eye for 10 minutes at a time, several times a day. You may also apply a “triple antibiotic cream” on the stye and it will not hurt your sight if youget some in your eye.

bugger:…

its your choice but the op is very painful, well the injection is.

my optiction, when i had them told me to wash my eye out with johnsons baby shampoo [no more tears] every few days. this was 2 years and i still do it today but dont used it neat just wash your hair with it use the suds to wash.

a warm compress every 4 hours also helps.. so warm water as warm as you can take it

Answer #6
