I dont no what determinds de colour. I suppose it depends on what colour you or your partners eyes are but 1 thing I no 4 def is that once they reach 6 or 7wks old they will not change!!!

Time. :) Most babies are born with blue eyes, but most that will change, do so by the time they’re about 9 months old. If your family has all brown eyes, and the baby’s father has all brown eyes- it’s likely in that situation that a blue eyed baby’s eyes will change to brown.

if both parents have blue eyes, the child will have blue eyes. but brown is dominant so if one parent has blue eyes and the other has brown eyes, the child will most likely have brown eyes, unless both grandparents have mostly blue eyes. catch my drift?

All babies are born with blue eyes and most of them change unless it is in your genes for the baby to have blue eyes. This happens with most mammals, puppies and kittens are born with blue eyes that change as well. Blue is recessive so there usually isn’t a very good chance of blue eyes.
