What are some of the best and extremely quick ways to get rid of head lice?

And, can they live on animals?

as far as I know they can live on animals, but I am not sure about that. It can be tricky getting rid of them (I’ve had them about 3 times in my life). What we used to do is wash my hair twice a day with lice shampoo, spray tee tree oil on it) and once a day cover my scalp with liquid parrafin for half an hour or so (that kills the eggs they lie), however PLEASE NOTE that you should avoid the sun at all cost if you were to use liquid paraffin, it isn’t safe in full sunlight as it can cause burns.

buy the medicine for lice.. they sell them at walmart for cheap.. buy like 2 bottels.. i used them for my little sister and with 2 bottles i got rid of them, although i still had to go through her hair and pick some out with my nails because they were extremely stuck..

Once you get rid of the lice, I’d suggest putting a couple of drops of tea tree oil in your shampoo or rub it on your hair each day so the little buggers do not come back. My son caught them several times in public school and once we started using tea tree oil him they stopped.

To get rid of them the lice mediaction works well, though it is full of poisonous chemicals that some people can have a bad reaction to. As I color my hair blonde, when I caught them once from my son, I simply colored my hair and that killed them all. Good Luck!!
