Extended Periods Without Solid Food

I've heard all about how starving yourself for an extended period of time would either kill you or cause severe disorders from malnutrition.

What if you were to just not eat any solid foods for two weeks, only drink liquids (water, juice, milk, broth-type things), take protein and vitamin supplements and prepare in other ways? Are you still keeping your body relatively healthy? What are some other ramifications of doing this? Any foreseeable benefits?
