What are your experiences with different brands of diapers - is cheaper really worth it?

Oh and 3 of use our boys, youngest is a girl. From what I remember/have been told, they worked decently for all 3 of use.

my friends baby girl wet through the cheaper diapers and they would irratate her skin. she had to buy the more expensive diapers

Parent Choice is much cheaper, but I went through so many so quickly.. and the kids would soak through while sleeping. I would have to wake them up and change them. (day care) Huggies is much more expensive, but it’s a super soaker. Now that you say it, I remembered boys soaked through the Parent Choice more often than the girls.. Huggies was the best for them. This one baby girl I had was always irritated with the Parent Choice.. I wonder how it feels lol.. Maybe Huggies is ‘’Victoria’s Secret’’ and Parent Choice are those underwears you get in a packet :D I’ve never liked Luvs at all..

I used huggies for my son and for my daughter. It is the best brand you can get. If you have a babies r us by you thwn you can buy in bulk and also recieve gift cards for doing so.

I haven’t had children or anything, but I know that my mother used towel diapers (the ones you wash afterwards) instead of the disposables such as huggies. We never struggled with diaper rash or anything like that. It is messy but they do work. Otherwise huggies is pretty good. I know that from the pharmacies mothers always gave good review about it.
