What is something you always got excited over as a child?

I always got so excited over going to a birthday party at this kids adventure playground called ‘Lollypops Playland’. It was the most awesome place ever, and when a friend had a party there they had special party rooms with party food and stuff. I didn’t really get candy at home so I remember being absolutely mindblowingly amazed at the huge bowl of lollies in the middle of the table. Ha. How about youuu?

Bionicles. That was what I did with my friend Jesse every day at school. Oh, and Dragon Ball Z, bike riding, chess, and my collection of toy cars.

Halloween and vacation bible school. what a combination huh?

I remember my church actually held these little game booths on Halloween with prizes to keep the kids off the streets to be safe. I alwys looked forward to those! I also looked forward to my retreats with my friends.

when i was a kid the church didn’t do the fall festival thing. but even if they had there was no way i was missing trick-or-treating! back then EVERY house in the hood decorated and gave out candy. we’d come home with pillowcases full after only a couple hours!

I always love eating and that made me always excited.

My mother used to make cakes, in the kitchen, and I just loved to eat any cake mix that happened to remain upon the mixing spoons. One day, she washed the spoons before I had a chance to “lick” them. I was inconsolable and I even demanded she make another cake!!! Ah, what fun we had when we were young.

Board games and going outside/going bike riding and walking.

Um…pegs. You know the kind you hang the washing out with? Them. I used to spend hours taking them out the bag putting them on my dress and then…putting them back in the bag…

Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars!! Also going on a Sunday trip with Mom and Dad. What about something I hated? That would have to be church, hospitals, grandma’s house and school. :D
