Why is it that everytime I get yelled at I break down and cry?

It could be a stranger on the street and I would still cry, I’ve also heard screaming and yelling alot growing up and still kinda do.

You proabaly just feel overwhelmed and your a teenage girl hormones are going crazy now and sometimes we just get overwhelmed and feel frusterated so we cry.

everytime I get yelled at I cry, even when I was a little kid I cried its not just recently. Its been that way my whole life.

Your feeling overwelmed, noone likes to be yelled at, i mean nooone, when people get yelled at the get very tensed up and cry, they feel very overwelmed and feel like the whole world is comeing down on you!

Ive done the same thing if i dont cry im just about to, i think its just becasue were getting overwhelmed we dont like to be yelled at

Maybe you’re just sensitive. A lot of people are like that, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s just how you are, and it’s not something you need to change… unless it’s affecting your life in a negative way.

For example, in the work place… sometimes you will be yelled at or rushed, and if you just break down crying, it may affect your job and cause you to get fired. In that case, you would need to toughen up a bit, and realize there is a time and place to let your emotions out like that.

My sister does that and she’s not emotionally strong. She also doesn’t stick up for herself and takes in a lot when she doesn’t deserve it. Also cries easily, but yeah she’s just weak emotionally.

It is just who you are I am the same way. I get emotionally distraught when anyone shouts at me. Guess it’s part of our personality.
