But what are your vies on euthanasia being performed on a human?

I agree with ichibanarky.

If we put animals to sleep humanely to end suffering and pain (without even having a choice, because it’s the right thing to do), why don’t we allow humans to even make the decision?

I think every person should have the right to end their life if they have just cause.

Keep in mind that “just cause” would be something like a long lasting, painful terminal illness, not because your dog ran away or your mom yells at you all the time.

If the person is consenting, then that is their choice. As long as the person being euthanised has given their informed consent, then it is a humane way to end extreme suffering.

Yes, euthanaisa should be allowed, with consent of course. However some people are worried that elderly people may be forced or coaxed into consenting by others who just want their money and belongings. Some peeople travel to Switzerland to die- if they’re that desperate that they’re going to go over there, why can’t we just allow it here?
