Emo and gothic.

Emo is : cutting, low-self esteem. To make it simple. emo is literally short for EMOtional.

Gothic is ; headbanger, pentagrams, black clothes and chains.

Believing in God has NOTHING to do with it. most Goths are rebellious teens who are dark and unhappy.

If you are calling urself emo ; then you aren’t. sorry to say, saying you are a certain clique is being a COMPLETE poser.

It’s complicated. And telling your parents your “Emo” makes them go all like.. “ okay, what the f*ck is that “

Nooo!!! totally not even close to the same thing!!! thats like emo and scene being the same thing, they may look somewhat similar, but scene people are way to happy to even begin to cut, they just like the style, but as scene is branched from emo, emo is branched from goth, so I see where the confusion comes in, but my answer is no, they are not the same thing.

no goth is very lonley and never happy emo is just cutting but happy and fun.

Well no matter what “Label” you are you all have di(we) different religions, so that has nothing todo with believeing in God unless your talking about religions wise. but no goth is wear black a lot most of the time, and emo is loners that DONT necassarily cut, thoase are called “cutters” . so thats that, also emos can be some of the niceset, sweetest people you wil evermeetmet. so there.
