Embarrassed... (Girls only please)

Hi. Im 14 years old and next week is my 8th grade dance and well im embarassed to go because of my weight. I’ve tried to lose it but nothing really doesnt work. I’ve tried not eating junk foods but that doesnt work. Should I still be embarrased because my dress is loose fit. so it doesnt hug to my body. Should I be embarrassed? or should I just have a good time? Please help me!!!

Loose fitting party dresses are the best kind by far! easier to dance in and wayy comfier! I only wear loose dresses when I go out partying or clubbing and they are generally more flattering, not many girls can pull of tight fitting dresses at all and believe it or not the ones that do wear them usually spend most of their time worrying about how they look! Have fun :)

Awe, I hope you have a good time dear…Try not to worry about what other people say or think…I know it’s hard, especially the way women are portrayed in today’s society…Hey, a lil extra weight is still beautiful and I’m sure you’re a beautiful, talent, bright young girl…So wear that dress, go out there, and shake your bum all night long!!! Like the other people said, loose fitting dresses are more comfortable…Pss, just make sure it doesn’t look like a moo moo dress…Hehe…If you really want to lose the weight, just watch what you eat and exercise…Ride a bike!!! It’s a great exercise!!! Have fun sweety!!!
