I answwered a question very close to this today. To be emancipated is extremely hard. First you have to prove that your family life is unfit for you to be in then the even harder part. You have to show you can financially support yourself. Meaning pay your own rent, utilities, food, medical etc. Yourtalking about $2000-$2500 a month. Most adults these days are pretty strapped and for a 16 yo maybe impossible to be able to handle all of that. Emancipation is for the most part held pnly to child actoprs who becaome rich and have paretns who are stealing there money and dont have there best interest at heart. My suggestion is tough it out for two more years. Mostly likely trhats how long a court case would take anyway. save money. buy your car FINISH SCHOOL and make something of yourself. If its really true your parents dont like you thats the best way to get back at them!!!
