Using GIMP

Select the Path tool and slowly cut around your hair making sure you don’t include any bits that isn’t your hair otherwise it would look stupid.
Press select and click on “From Path”
Click on colours then on colour balance and move the colours around until you find one you like. I hope this helps. I’m out.

Or use photo shop, the colouring tool, pick the brown you want and lightly colour your hair.
