Answer #1

no it’s not bad too eat shrimp. Well unless you eat a ton of it and end up throwing up then yah.

Answer #2

Shrimp does have cholesterol. If you have a family history of heart disease or stroke than you might limit the amount you eat.

You could always have your cholesterol checked to see if it is a problem for you.

Answer #3

…and a lot depends on how you prepare the shrimp. If you deep-fat fry it in batter, you’re adding lots of the ‘bad’ cholesterol. Steamed or in salads with low-fat dressings is much better. (I LOVE shrimp)

By the way, the jury is apparently still out on the question of shrimp and its cholesterol. Have a look at, for example, www.cnn.com/HEALTH/indepth.food/meat/seafood/healthful.shrimp/index.html
