Please help…what should I do if I have dysmenoria?…its really so painful…

You need to go to an OB/GYN if you haven’t already.

The following things have been shown to help lessen the effects:

  1. Nutritional supplements: omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, vitamin E, zinc, and thiamine (vitamin B1).

  2. Prescription NSAIDS (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).

  3. Hormonal contraceptives (ie. birth control).
