dying hair

I have dark red (auborn) hair and I was woondering how to get some white blonde streaks in there lol I try and usually it comes out strawberry blonde or just blonde but I want really white blonde streaks..any advice? lol.. Plus I have razored banges and the sides tapor down but I dont have layers in the back so should I get some or would it look better without layers?? thanks (also I heard bleach makes your hair fall out so I want something thats safe lol)

Bleach is fine if you don’t use it too much and you could get it done by a proffesional because that will turn out better for you.

my hair is incredibly dark, almost black. its completly natural & no dye I use works on it. so I bought a bleaching kit with a peroxide percentage of 12, will that work ? and is the only way to add colour to my hair by stripping it first?

You’ll have to bleach your hair if you want them to be platinum blonde. Bleach can harm your hair, but it’s unlikely if you follow the instructions and don’t bleach often.

If you want to have a little more shape and volume with your hair, then go for the layers and ask for them to be shaped with the razor just like your bangs were.

There is no possible way to get your hair to be really white blonde without damaging it - the lighter you go the more stress you are putting your hair under. Having said that, if you are only getting a few pieces lightened rather than your whole head then it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Once the hair has been lightened you can get a blonde ‘toner’ (which is purple in colour) and apply it to the lightened hair and it may help to take out the golden tones that you are trying to avoid.
