Blue Ray discs hold more data up to 50 GB vs HD DVD which is at 30GB you cant compare normal DVD to Blue ray its like a old tv’s(Big ones) vs the new HD TV or like VHS vs DVD whe it first came out the potential for blueray is greater due to shorter laser wavelengths which store more info on the same amount of surface
yeah thats a given but theres normal DVD and HD DVD I wasnt sure which one he was comparing
