OH my gosh, that was really dumb of me, I did not even catch that I did that, Thanks. However, she is asking what words break the rule “ I before e except after c”

Words that FOLLOW the rule species, science, sufficient, ancient

Words that DON’T follow the “rule of thumb” receive, ceiling, conceit, and ofcourse Conceive

As I understand it, she was asking if there are any words that don’t fall under the “except after C rule”…she wasn’t asking whether or not there had to be a “C”, just if there were other rules that qualify…which there are.

And it’s conceive, not concieve.

No pwincess, she means like I before E excepth after C like the word Concieve. The I comes before the e following the c. And yes there are words that break this “rule” receive,” “ceiling,” “conceit
