Why do I keep getting this dry/scratchy/hot feeling on the roof of my mouth (towards the back)?

I just started today, and it only last less than a minute. So far it’s happened twice.

Answer #1

We can’t give you a proper diagnosis. You should go to the doctor if you’re concerned.

Answer #2

It might be caused from allergies, sinus problems, dry air, etc. There’s no way any of us on here can tell what exactly is causing this. If I were you, I would drink some tea, or anything warm in general. That might help! If this becomes an ongoing problem, then see a doctor.

Answer #3

I get this problem every once and awhile too- I think it’s due to allergies getting built up in the back of your throat and irritating it. I only get it when my allergies are acting up, so I do believe this would be valid - It’s nothing to be concerned about though, I can almost say I’m sure. But then I’d suppose that would depend on how servere it is. If it doesnt hurt or burn, give it a week. It should go away. If not, and your still concerned, go see a doctor. Hope it gets better:)
