How can I keep my hair looking good when it dries?

Hi, I have medium length kinda long hair. Its naturally curly and it looks like I curled it with a curling iron. Sounds great but the only prob is it is sooo frizzy and dry and curly(I don’t know if itys from straightener brush too many products shampoo) I don’t know anymore. I starightened my hair a few days ago and it looked great for two hours then it got all frizzy and poofy and dry and it looked bad. Like way tooo much volume. Also I have a side bang that I usually put in a bump. When I get out oif the showere I dry my hair and put conditioner in it how ever when the wetness is gone it goes back to being a mess. My hair looks great in a wet look but I don’t know how to do that. I need your help. Any ideas or sprays or shampoo and conditer to make my hair better all day??? After I straighten it it looks nothing like all my friens(shiny and silky) it looks like a dry poof lol. I need help any advice pleasseee!!!

I have very very very curly hair. I recently stopped using shampoo. I “shampoo” with conditioner every day…the friction releases buildup and oils leaving behind healthy sebum to keep your hair frizz free. Once a week I rinse my hair with 1 part apple cider vinegar to 2 parts water. Once you stop using shampoo, you’ll start to love your hair. Give it two weeks until everyday is a good hair day

I use this stuff called Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Smoothing Milk…I like it a lot, it seems to work to keep the frizz down, plus it makes my hair look super shiny and healthy.

You are trying too hard. I have very similar hair. I don’t straighten it too often, because if you do, little parts of your hair gets burned, even if you can’t see it. Burned hair looks frizzier. Also, when you straighten your hair, your hair will look nothing like your friends. Curly hair folicles are different that straight hair folicles, and therefore the texture will always be different. Here is my solution. Every morning take a shower. I would suggest using Pantene Shampoo for Curls and Herbal Essences (I don’t know which one, but it comes in a blue bottle) Next, wait about a half hour. You can put your hair up in a loose messy bun, or leave it dry. Then, brush through your hair, getting rid of all tangles. You can use a leave in conditioner if you want. Next, put your hair into a ponytail, braids, a bun, or just leave it down. I also have sidebangs. Brush them back, then clip them far back on your head, very near the end of your bangs when they are brushed back. Then you can put another clip near the front. Put your fingers right behind the clip near the front, and push until the bump is high enough for you. Then spray Pantene Leave in Gel for Curls, smoothing back any flyaway hairs. Let your hair airdry. This should keep it looking reasonably good all day. Hope this helps!
