How do you dress "vintage"?

I wear leather. Leather skirts, jackets, vests, etc.

Depends on what vintage style you want to dress. It ranges like Victorian vintage or vintage from the 80’s. With the clothes, it can range from flower print dresses to cardigans and sweaters. What was vintage fashion back in the days would be regarded as something you’d find in your grandmothers closet today. You would need to research on what vintage style you want to go after and look at the sort of things they wore and try to mix it in with todays vintage fashion. Silk is a popular material for vintage dresses, high waist skirts or pants, tights/leggings. Long clothing is also popular in vintage attire. Maxi dresses, long skirts, and gypsy pants/harems. For the shoes, sandals are ideal, and things with a little chunky heel yet modern. I suggest you check out any vintage clothes stores where you live. They can get pricey though so try thrift stores/op shops. You can find a lot of vintage items there and match it with many things. Theyre pretty cheap too. What I suggest you do is to also check out photographs of vintage fashion and in your mind, match it up with something modern. Like instead of a baggy pants, you could wear a maxi skirt. Another thing, for the jewelery, anything chunky or very simple would work well. Pears, lockets and layered jewellery would do. Hope this helped!
