Who here has used DragonLink UHF R/C controls?

While the range of the control has more than I think I would ever need 25 KM for the price, I would think why not go with this and not have to worry about dropping signal.

Answer #1

Seemingly, this is a very niche RC product…according their site, at least a few people would have lost their planes without using this to extend the signal.

If I was investing that kind of money into a bunch of radio controlled planes, tech, etc, then I’d probably also double down for something like this…as anything that ensures you keep control and don’t lose the plane sounds like a no brainer. Kind of like buying insurance, you might not have to have it, but if you need it, well, you’re better off than having skipped on it.

Answer #2

Well me and my son are looking into FPV and doing this it is very easy to lose your plan due to how far you can fly to the point where you can no longer see it from the spot where you are actively controlling it.
