Downloading to memory card

When I’m downloading something from the internet to my phone, how do I make the dowload save onto my memory card and not the phone itself?

I’m assuming you are talking about the phones basic settings area? In there: Display, sounds, airplane/music mode, bluetooth, messaging, auto keyguard, text entry, phone information, more. Then if I click on “more” it lists: accessibility, call setup, data, location, navigation keys, restrict and lock, roaming, security, wireless backup.

On my main menu screen one of the choices is media player. I don’t know if that’s the same thing as what you are talking about. I currently have 3 videos that I have downloaded onto my phone. If I go into the media player there is nothing listed there. In order for me to watch those videos I have to go to My Content and then videos and then press play. Sorry if this is a lot to read. I’m just trying to give you any and all info that you might need. Thank you very much for taking the time to help me! I appreciate it.

Go to settings and go to your download manager. This is for the moto rokr e8, but what kind of phone do you have?

I have a Sprint LG Rumor phone. It does not have a download manager option in the settings anywhere. I looked in the picutures and viedeos settings as well. That didn’t help either. When I go to the memory card manager the only option it gives me is to format what is already on it (which by the way does nothing but delete whatevers in there). I have no problem downloading small files to my phone. I can also do that and then send it over to the memory card. I can’t do that with large files though because the phone doesn’t have a large enough memory to temporarily hold the large files.
