Should I become a Doula or Midwife, or Childbirth Educator?

I am planning on becoming an RN. But I want to go into the childbirth expect of nursing.

I was wondering, to get some experience or onlook, should I go and become a doula, or maybe also on the side become a childbirth educator? I know to become a Midwife, you need to be an RN.

I was also wondering are there any prerequsites, for becoming a doula or Childbirth educator?

How should I go into doing this? I’m just trying to figure out what I should do.

Thanks all <3

as far as I know you dont need qualifications as you dont perform any clinical role. There are some certificates you can get but they are optional. Doulas usually assist women in non-hospital settings so perhaps you could enquire at a small birthing clinic
