Answer #1

haha maybe the bulb is out?

Answer #2

maybe the lamp finally stopped working, and it’s time to buy a new one

Answer #3

Do CHECK #1 first… 1.) You accidentally put in a bulb that was defective, or that had gone out another time and had not been thrown away. 2.) When your bulb blew the first time, your circuit breaker (or fuse) also blew, so now that circuit is dead until it is reset. 3.) When the first bulb blew it shorted out and either the wall socket or your lamp cord melted and now will not pass a current. TO CHECK EACH: #1 get a bulb from a lamp that is now working and put that bulb in your lamp. #2 go to the circuit (fuse) box - usually in the basement - and check and reset if needed. IMPORTANT: try to find out WHY it blew. It may have been an overloaded circuit. #3 to check the wall outlet, take your lamp to another wall outlet that you KNOW is working. If it then works, it is the outlet that is bad. If it still doesn’t work, then it is the lamp.
