Well, if we want to get scientific on it, I suppose any reproductive barriers, would be post-zygotic, meaning that the pregnancy was viable, though the offspring may be sterile (like mules). For this would occur, donkeys and dragons chromosomes would have had to total and even number, than could be sperated into homologous pairs.
