How to donate money to help the people of Japan?

My kids have their school organize for the collection. They will combine the money collected from all Elementary School students from our city. The collected money are specially for those students in Japan. Our Education Department will hand the money to the Japan Embassy in the capital city. You can start collecting yours and your friends… :-)

I have actually organized some fund raisers in my area. We will be having a fund-raiser next Friday, and hopefully another one coming up this Saturday.

I’m not sure if your phone company does this but mine does, it allows you to add 10.00 to your phone bill and they donate the 10.00 to the relief effort

If you live in Canada, text “ASIA” to 30333 to have $5 added to your phone bill. You can do this up to 6 times a month. This money goes to the Red Cross.

If you live in the States, text “REDCROSS” to 90999 to have $10 added to your phone bill for donation to the Redcross.

Make sure you respond to the confirmation text.

There is a relief fund that if you make paper cranes they will send 2 dollars over to japan for every one crane it is a good way to donate if you dont have any money just need square sheets of paper….you can recycle.
