Dogs vs. Cats

Tell me which is better and why. I LOVE cats.

Answer #1

Cats. I have 2 and I have a dog an while I love my dog it is sooo stupid lol. The cats just hang around and sleep they are never getting into things and ripping them up. lol

Answer #2

Cats are actually smarter (which is why it is harder to train them, they only do what they want to do).

I don’t know… I’ve had both cats and dogs, and they’re both the complete opposites of what they’re supposed to be… My dog has absolutely no loyalties while my cat won’t allow anyone near me… But there’s nothing that beats a dog coming at you with a wagging tail… Nope can’t answer this question, I think it depends on the individal cat/dog you have

I like dogs; reason being dogs have a tendency to listen more and can learn more things. Cats dont get me wrong are cute but you dont walk cats, 9 times out of 10 if you throw a ball a cat wont go get it but a dog will. Cats are made to look cute and girls are cute so hey for most females a cat would be a good choice. Most guys like to do sporty things like throw footballs and run around the yard for no apparent reasons and dogs will chase your butt around that yard til you feel tired and smack into a tree lol:) Plus its cute when you put peanut butter in the upper portion of the dogs mouth and he sits there and licks it for bout an hr.

Answer #4

I don’t know if training cats has to do with them understanding things, cats understand subtle things that dogs just dont (and Im not biased here, I love both animals equally but you try getting a dog to use the toilet). Again it is just possible that training dogs is easier because they are more willing… Also, my cat knows not to jump on the counters, when I’m going to let her out, and to come when I want to put her on a leash for a walk… (again, I honestly think it depends on the animal, but mine def knows when she’s going outside for a walk…)

Angel14215 ::: It’s not that cats are too regal to perform tricks or obey commands. It’s that they don’t understand how to do them. They just aren’t able to learn language and read social cues as well as dogs. Dogs, on the other hand, are champs at it. Maybe this is why dogs joined human families about 14,000 years ago, while cats were first domesticated 4,500 years ago. Dogs were quicker to figure out how to hop on board the human gravy train. In any case, this is why my dog always knows when she’s going for a walk, even without my using the word–there’s some signal I’m giving off without even knowing it. I’ve heard of sheep herding dogs but not sheep herding cats. Dogs are very social animals just like us humans. It is a proven fact that average dogs can know up to 260 words and signals and average cats only know up to 50.

Answer #6

Cats probably. I’ve had a couple of dogs , but I just prefer cats.

Answer #7

Dogs are so cute, you can play with them, take them for walks, and. When I cry, my dog comes and make me feel better

Answer #10

I think cats are better because they don’t get into anything. They want chew your stuff up and they not loud. They love being rub and they don’t eat everything up. I love cats and I’m getting me one soon. I had dogs too and they were good and playful. My sister have a dog and he eats evrything and barks at everything. He will chew up your stuff and he don’t listen. Cats are better to have.

Answer #11

I just want to say I’ve seen dogs use the toilet before. As a matter of fact twice as many dogs have used the toilet in a television comedy than cats. And three times as many dogs are on television and movies than cats. Don’t get me wrong I love both animals equally. And yes it may depend on the animal you have but my facts are based on the average dog and average cat so…
