depending whether your dog is a male or female when they mated if the female pulled out early it may have cuased a tare. best thing is to maybe call your vet and just keep a close eye on the dog and keep the area clean to keep clear of infection. if the bleeding gets very bad go the vet straight away

Depending on when she came in? Here is your cycle. She will show signs of coming into heat with swelling in her vulva. She will than have some discharge maybe? You have 7 days of coming into heat ( no bleeding) 7 days in heat with bleeding and 7 days going out. 21 days of heat. She can get pregnant in any time during the cycle nature being what it is, but she in not suppose to until she is coming out of the seven days of bleeding.

You will know when she is ready when she will stand for the male, without nipping are sitting down. She will do what is called flagging. This is were she will hold her tail up or to one side and tilt her vulva and stand for the male. She will actually be playful and willing to breed.

Unless you counted on the calender when she came in and if you only tied the male and female once (may not take) it seems like she is in the bleeding cycle for a long time. If you are sure she has been bleeding for a period that seems longer than usual and if she has a strong odor on is running a temp. I would of course contact your Veterinarian
