Why does my dog bark at me, but I'm its owner..not a stranger?

There are way too many possibilities to give an answer lol. Give a description of the situation and what the bark sounds like.

I think that depends upon the coordination between an owner and his pet. Spent more time with you dog ..definnitely your problem will be resolved.

If the dog is wagging his tail and seem playful then it is playful bark. If the dog seems tense and his hairs are standing up and is showing teeth then its defensive attack bark. If the bark is accompanied by hiding and running from you with tail in between his/her legs then its fearful and in presence of a stranger.

If it’s two short barks, that means that the dog either wants food or water or perhaps needs to be let out. If it’s more like a growling bark. Then you may have a problem on your hands. *Mister BlueDevil the Dog Whisperer.

It barks non stop as soon as it sees me. But then once I get around him more, he calms down and realizes it’s me. It’s very weird. It’s something new with him too, he didn’t use to bark at me.
