Dog after Rottie

I have currently have a 2 year old male Rott. I’m planning to get a Labrador Retriever puppy for a playmate. Would it be advisable? Btw, I also have an 8 year old male dachshund. Please advise.

I think it would be great! Rotties, like German Shepherds, can be suspicious and take life a little seriously…Labs are generally happy go lucky, not suspicious, and love to play…Kind of teaches a more serious type of dog how to have fun.
