Hi there. I posted an ad on craigslist for my babysitting services. A couple days later(meaning today...) some emailed me this:
Hello,
Good Morning, My Family and I have found your resume on the Internet. We are interested in a Babysitter / Nanny who would be able to take good care of our Children (Kurt and Susan). Susan is Kurt's elder sister, She is 5 Years old and will be 6 by April 16th, Kurt is 3 Years Old, He became 3 on the 1st day of Dec 2008, Both Kids are so intelligent and they are so friendly too, My Wife (Yvonne) is 27 Years old and I am 31. We are a Family of 4, We are moving to your area on the 28th of Febuary, We were able to search you on Craigslist through the Nearest City. My Wife and I work so hard and we really do not have much time to watch after out lovely kids, We need someone who can really watch after Susan and Kurt, Who will teach them the rights from the wrongs and make them understand how much we love them.
We will require you to work Monday throguh Friday for atleast 3 Hours and at most 5 hours, Weekends are exceptional as Yvonne and I are always available through the weekends to be with them, we love going outing over the weekends. though if you wish to include weekends, that will be fine by us and okay for us too.
We need you to tell us more about yourself and let us know how much you charge per hour, We are willing to pay you $50 / Hour, and as time continues, we will make an increase in your salary. We have 3 cars, You can always use either of the 3 cars when working with us, but we must be sure you have got a drivers license so that you do not get booked.
We will like to know if you will love to live in our home or you would want to come from your own home, whichever way will be fine for us. all we need is to make sure Kurt and Susan gets the best Friend! Please write us back to know if you will be available for this position and tell us more of yourself.

I never said how old I was in the ad, but I am certainly not old enough to live with them or drive. It just sounded...off.
Yep, does to me, must be very carful with this kind of stuff, I have gotten some crazy respones to animals off of craiglist, I now delete them.
I suggest you meeting with him, you AND your parents before you accept the job.
It sounded like the person was actually a robot.
$50 an hour???
That alone raises some alarms.
Ugh they sound a littel creepy
