Does she like me?

Hi,

I’m not sure if this girl likes me and would very much appreciate some input.

this girl and I have only been talking for about 7 weeks and she has done some things which make me think she likes me, and please keep in mind she is a quiet/shy person.

1. I have caught her looking at me numerous times, so has my mate, as a matter of fact, I looked up the other day and she was already staring at me and she didn’t turn away until I did.

2. originally she was talking to me normally, but the other day she seemed a lot quieter and more shy talking to me, yet later that night, she was fine talking to everybody else.

3. I jokingly said to her that I was going to ‘steal’ some plates from the dining hall and she jokingly replied that she would fine me, anyways as I walked out, she watched me with a smile and she chased me out haha.

4.when I asked her about how her piano lessons were going the other day, she ended up telling me that she had not practiced and that she was on a break from her assignments.

5. after we had a 10 minute conversation, we started to walk out of the dining hall together and she was really quiet and I tried to make her laugh and she was still shy and she walked with me back to my block, before she walked back to hers and she even held a door open for me.

6.as I walked out of the dining hall tonight, I saw her looking at me out of the corner of my eye and a few minutes later she walked out of the hall the way I had left and she saw me talking to a mate and started walking back to her block.

p.s what does it mean when a girl stares at you without smiling at you? I’m curious.

so what do you all think?
