Does ProActive really work to clear your face?

I’ve got a lot of magazines, and it’s in there like everywhere! So I’m wondering, is it worth it to buy it?

Answer #1

I used to have so much acne when I was younger. I used proactive and it really didn’t work for me! It somehow didn’t do the trick. But I would say its definitely worth the try. Definitely try and see. You never know if it will work for you if you don’t

Answer #2

I got it and I like it. I get pimples and blackheads if I don’t use it but when I do it will clear up my face in like 3 days. it’s great you shoudl try it.

Answer #3

it definatly depends, because I used it for a year, and it did nothing, but it worked for my brother, so its different for everyone! try it! you got nothing to loose!

Answer #4

um it totally depends! Sometimes depending on your skin and things like that it will work, but then on others it won’t! (It even says “results may vary” on the box ) so I say go 4 it :) buy it :) see if it works!!

Answer #5

It depends how sensitive your skin is because I used it and my face got really dry and bltchy and I had to see another dermatoligist to get cream for the dryness in my face so I recommend you ask a dermotoligist if its worth buying before you actually buy it. =]

Answer #6

I think Proactive works. It does dry your skin though somewhat. However, in my case it worked for a a good solid 2-3 months than it didn’t work as well after that (maybe it wasn’t as strong as it was when I first purchased and my skin got used to the chemicals).

Answer #7

Yes, but there are other alternatives too. There’s this one Product you can buy in stores, it’s called Acne-Free, I found the results to be a lot better. It costs the exact same. $20 for a three step system. But for Proactive, yes, it does work. I have been using it for a Few months, one thing you do have to remember though, is that sometimes when you’re just trying it out and getting used to putting it on every night, you may get a few minor or major blemishes. But just like any other product, you’ve got to give it a chance. But I recommend the Refining Mask, you get it as a Free Gift sometimes when you order. It is Great. Awesome. I’d purchase that too if you decide on Proactive.

Answer #8

Definately. Acne runs in my family. My mom still gets breakouts and she is almost 50. I use proactiv… I only use the 1st step though, which cost about 20 dollars but last for a month or two months depending on how much you use it. It says twice a day and you use about a dime sized amount. I only used it at night so it lasted a while. Even when I run out my face stays clear, but you have to keep using it otherwise you will get breakouts. If you have a problem with dry skin you might get the 3 step system.

Answer #9

I want it to work so bad I do it 2 times aday and it aint done nothing :( I hate my life
