Does my friend like me?

I have a friend he lives 2 houses away from me. I’m 13 and hes 13. We hang out whenever we can especially night. But he’s not one of those perverted or good guys hes a skater and he jokes around with me trips me or watever he can be nice and he could be mean (in a good way). All my friends say he likes me and I deny it and they say do you see the way he looks at you theres like a sparkle in his eyes. I laugh and I never noticed it and say that was really tacky. I never noticed signs because we fool around a lot and it doesn’t come to mind. I really don’t know if he likes me or not. Please somebody can you tell me if he likes me or as a friend.
