Does getting your lip peirced hurt?

I wanna get ither snake or spider bites witch is two peircings an I was jw does it hurt and do they numb it because its two needls going through your lip..I also am wondering if it hurts more because im half black an my bottem lip is kinda thick???

I have my lip pierced and it only hurt for like a min but then afterwards it might bleed and thats about it, don’t try to eat any complicated foods afterwards like me and my boyfriend tried to do, we wasted the money cause we couldn’t eat… haha ( it was nachos) My boyfriend is half black and we both have thick lips his didn’t bleed or hurt that bad at all… so it’s all how you handle pain. if you are afraid of pain take like some tylenol or motrin and make sure you eat before you go. ICE AND IB PROFIN help afterwards for swelling THATS THE KEY! also instead of paying tons of money for those salt water cleaner just get a thing of sea salt from the grocery store and mix with hot water and clean with that… it’s cheaper… and you will be fine! GOODLUCK

  1. yes, obvioulsy anything getng preced through your flesh will hurt to soem degree. pain depends on your pain tolerance, but its usually bearable

  2. no, thry dont numb it. there no need to numb any ear or facial piercing, its unecessary so they dont do it

  3. there isnt two needles going through your lip at the same time, they do one and then do the other. they clamp your lip, sticka hollow needle through, then hread the jewelrey through the needle. then they do the other one

  4. the thicker/biggesr your lips are, the more area there is to pierce through, so yes it might hurt more because you have more of an area to pierce
