I am pretty sure that it’s made of the boiled bones of animals. Also the boiled skin and something else that I forget. Haha. But ya I just found out that gelatin is made of animals. I’m never eating Skittles ever again!!!

Answer #4

yes it does. I’m a vegetarian and I found out about gelatin while eating a packet of gummi snakes.(which contain gelatin).

Answer #5

always check the back of the packet. in chocolate you find gelatine and in many sweets. If you look it up on the internet you will come across sweets and chocolates that are vegetarian. I know for sure that rowntrees jelly tots are vegetarian and cadburys; crunchie dairy milk, munchies are. They whole of galaxy produce is not!

Answer #6

Gelatin is not vegetarian. Vegetarians often eat foods with geletain not knowing that there are animal products in it. Geletain is in Jello, marshmallows, peeps, and gummy bears. It is often added to ice cream to keep it from melting too quickly and to thicken yogurt, margarine, and preserves.

Vegetarian foods may substitue agar agar for geletain.

There was a bit of a scandal a few years ago when a brand of Vegan marshmallows turned out to use geletain.
