Some commercial fruitcakes are pretty dreadful.

My mom used to make homemade fruitcakes and give them to everyone she knew at Christmas time. Her’s were actually quite good.

Well I was watching some show and they said that 92% of people that recive it for a gift throw it in the trash. mines good but I use fresh cherries and almonds not those nasty green and red cherries

If people did not eat them, ask your dad why stores stock so many different versions…smile
