Does anybody else have this problem in school?

Ok, I dont care about this but I just wanted to know if anyone elso has this problem with people in school lol I am really nice and in school I stay out of drama unless someone drags me in it which happens a lot. But I never start drama. I try to talk to everybody, but I hang out with one group of girls in paticular. These are girls who are neever in drama which is why I hang out with them. lol So basically I dont talk about anybody or get into that catty stuff. I love to look good. Everyday I go to school with my hair done, makeup on , nice earringgs, nice rings, nice bracelets and nice necklaces. I alaways carry designer purses and I wear designer clothes when I can(I havta wear uniforms usually) a lot of people like to call me rich btch or they will just stare at me and look me up and down. I only get compliments from my friends or other random girls that I dont know. But a lot of my class will just stare at me like I have 3 heads or somethng. My family is wealthy, but I wouldnt call them rich. I am in highschool, a junior, and people are a lot nicer than middle school! In middle school people would call me a btch to my face and throw my nice designer coats on the floor and a lot of other things. One day I came in to school with my hair curled and these group of girls told me it looked like sht to my face! But the next week , those same girls all had their hair curled. ha. I had a horse at one time and for some reason people thought I owned a horse farm and would always ask me where my farm was. Hahaha! I also was into pagaents and would go to a lot of yacht club events. Some teachers would ask my class what we did this weekend and I would tell them I went to a horse show and a yacht club and I would get the dirtiest lokks ever! So ever since middle school I been labeled the rich kid or rich btch now. BuT I dont get why peopleare so mean about it. I mean its not like I go around flaunting my possesions or something. And Im always nice to everyone. Does anybody else hve these problems?

Answer #1

I think they’re jealous.

But if you want this annoyance to go away you shouldn’t talk about it as if its no big deal. Saying you went to a yacht club kinda sounds like you’re bragging because face it you’re rich and the majority aren’t, when you say you wnet there as if its no big deal can hurt peoples feelings and cause jealousy. You may also want to tone down on designer clothes. They may look nice but you’re drwing the bad kind of attention to yourself. And wearing or carrying designer items IS flaunting. To your peers its like ‘look what I have and you dont’.

Please don’t take offense to this. You sound really nice, and I don’t think by any means you try to cause others discomfort. Just remember a little bit of expensive stuff is ok but drawing attention to it is NOT! Please take my advice and don’t feel offended I’d just like this drama to stop for you.

hope this helps -Jess

Clearly, you are a snob sweetie. But let’s face it, you already knew that one. And you are definitely the “new money” type because I know old money would never dream of flaunting their wealth like you do.

Answer #3

No…not a lot of people have those problems cause we’re all not rich. I know some kid that went to New York or Maine for like 1 day just to get lobster. I guess people are just jealous or hate kids like you. Me, I don’t like rich people because they do all act the same way, even though they say they don’t. But you don’t flaunt it and you try to make friends with everyone…which a lot of rich people don’t do.
